Our Facebook page has OVER 300 likes and followers!
. . . and interest in skijoring continues to grow. . .
Our newest fan is none other than former Senator and Secretary of State,
John Kerry
Secretary Kerry and Loren met at the Yale Club and in their discussions regarding his newest book which will be released soon,
Loren introduced him to equine skijoring.
His response was, "I'd like to try that sometime!"

Now for the BIG news!
Ebbie Hansen painted the town in New York City!
Your "Hometown Montana Sweetheart" and Skijor Champion Rider
spent time with Loren in advance of a conference she is attending
seeing the sights, meeting SJUSA contacts and charming everyone at
the Yale Club of New York City.
What a perfect representative of our sport. Her natural grace and sophisticated country style was a breath of fresh air that everyone welcomed and enjoyed.
Thank you, Ebbie!
This past week, Skijor USA had a follow up meeting with the marketing executive mentioned in a the April 14th newsletter and also met with a second marketing firm to discuss strategy and branding further.
In the next few weeks, SJUSA will be officially launching
The 2019 Sponsorship Program
under the advisement of the parties mentioned above.
Skijor USA met with a prominent producer and entrepreneur who, from 1990 to 2012, produced over 30 Hollywood studio films. You have probably seen many of them, in fact! Since then, he has been building out a fully integrated entertainment company. Going forward, he will be helping Loren and SJUSA explore the Reality TV / Internet TV space.
Shortly after this meeting on Thursday, Loren and Ebbie presented SJUSA to a group of Yale alumni at a monthly meeting of
YANA, Yale Alumni Non-profit Alliance.
Also in attendance was the founder of GallopNYC, an organization in New York City which uses horse therapy to treat thousands of autistic children and veterans suffering from PTSD. Gallop NYC has agreed to advise Skijor USA and share their twelve years of experience so that we can be successful right out of the gate! Our mission is to help our races have a positive and meaningful impact on charities of their choice in the Rocky Mountain West.
Also, SJUSA communicated with a well-respected and socially-connected Olympic skier to identify prominent athletes who may be interested in partnering with us to promote our up-and-coming "rogue" sport!
