It aIN’T OVER. . .
"It ain't over 'til it's over,"
Yogi Berra, the famous baseball catcher, manager and coach once said.
To put this quotation in context,
in July 1973, Berra's Mets trailed the Chicago Cubs by 9½ games in the National League East.
The Mets rallied to clinch the division title in their second-to-last game of the regular season, and eventually reach the World Series.

~ SKIJOR WEST ~
"A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore."
Yogi Berra
Oh, yes, it is!
Even teams who are not currently in 1st, 2nd or 3rd places
have an opportunity to advance at the
National Championship Finals
on
March 23rd & 24th
and
WIN!
Our Advisory Committee voted to award
one and a half times the normal points this weekend
giving "underdogs" who qualified a fair chance to pass muster
at the last race of the season
and walk away with a championship buckle.
This ups the ante for those with an advantage to hold onto their lead.
Go to www.skijorwest.com for more information.

~ RIDE LIKE THE WIND ~
"If you can't imitate him, don't copy him."
Yogi Berra
The only team to break the 15 second barrier this season was
The Dahl Force
in Saratoga, Wyoming
with a 14.996
Granted, at this race, the horses run on a dirt track,
and the wind does tend to blow harder in Wyoming,
but skier, Jason Dahl, STILL had to achieve a clean run behind his Dad,
Jeff Dahl, and trusty steed, Rocket.
Oh, yeah, and this was 1.184 seconds faster than their winning run on Saturday. As Yogi Berra might say,
"90 percent of skijoring is mental; the other half is physical."

~ THE ROAD TO 2020 ~
"When you come to a fork in the road, take it."
Yogi Berra
And we did!
We are proud to have offered a new vision for 2019
and
grateful to everyone who supported it and participated in it.
We promise to continue to work hard in-season and out for each and every member of our skijoring community and to listen to your observations and input.
We look forward to building on what we have achieved and forming strong relationships with new race venues, organizers, competitors and their teams, committee members, sponsors and media partners in the coming year.
