HEAVIEST OF HEARTS

Our skijoring community just lost a precious man.
Early this morning,
Jared Sare
of Pinedale, Wyoming
succumbed to fatal injuries as the result of an automobile accident.
Jared routinely participated in Pinedale Winter Carnival's Skijoring Event
with his little girl, Evelyn, now age 6.
Jared loved his daughter, Wyoming, and being a cowboy.
He worked as a veterinarian at Western Skies.
He listened to the songs of Chris and Ned LeDoux, Corb Lund, Jared Rogerson and Ian Tyson, to name a few, on Clear Out West or C.O.W. Radio
which, along with his signature mustache, wooly chaps and vintage sweaters reflected his upbeat, positive and unique approach to life.
We extend our sincerest sympathies to the Sare Family
at this most difficult time and pray for little Evelyn to find strength.
John and Kelli Hyde, Kate Dahl, Lenny and Ozzie Hay,
Lisanne Fear, Kyle Chrisman and Nick Nichols
all knew Jared through skijoring and are mourning this tragic and sudden loss.

Skijor USA's Team continues to grow.
Josh Abbott
of Gallatin Gateway, Montana
will be joining our Skijor USA Advisory Committee
Josh serves on the organizing committee for
the Gallatin Valley Skijoring event in Bozeman, Montana
which benefited Eagle Mount, a non-profit providing recreational opportunities for people with disabilities.
During bow and gun season, Josh is an outfitter in Southwestern Montana
and is engaged to marry Amanda Sandau in July 2019.
Josh competes as an Open rider on his horse,
Elvis,
whose papered name is Hunka Burnin' Love.
In 2018, Josh finished in the top 10 pulling skiers
Colin Cook, Bruce Stott, RJ Klotz, Toby McIntosh and Mike Fries
in Ridgway, Leadville, Whitefish, Red Lodge and Kalispell.
He had the winning time of 16.89 with Mike Fries in Leadville on Saturday, March 3rd and ran a 16.74 on Sunday, but penalties were assessed.

and work well with Dana, Bruce, Clay and Jerry.

It just made an appearance at the Banff Film Festival and will also be
