SPONSORSHIPS
SKIJOR USA
started the week with a BANG!
As the result of a strong presentation created by our talented team,
we secured our first national sponsor,
a highly regarded signature log home company
whose portfolio includes many exclusive properties
throughout the Rocky Mountain West as well as coast to coast.
Our sponsorship program has been launched, and Triple Cross Skijoring
will be securing more sponsorship partners as the months progress
so stay tuned!

ACHIEVEMENTS
Yesterday, July 28th, was the National Day of the Cowboy
&
members of our skijoring community fully embody this tradition.
Last night,
KAYLA SEAMAN
was crowned Miss Last Chance Stampede
in Helena, Montana
This year, the pageant was reinstated, so Kayla is the first winner since 1997.
She will go on to compete for Miss Rodeo Montana,
and, if she wins, she would automatically go on to compete for
Miss Rodeo America.
Kayla is the 24-year-old daughter of Michael and Mary Graham Seaman
of Kalispell, Montana.
She graduated Flathead HS and Montana State University
and is currently enrolled in the
Master of Business Administration Program
at the University of Montana.
Kayla competes in horsemanship, show jumping, equitation, barrel racing, eventing, skijoring and many other disciplines.
She is a fifth-generation Montanan who enjoys dedicating her time to volunteering with rodeos, Special Olympics, equestrian teams and more.
SKIJOR USA would like to congratulate Kayla
and her family on this extraordinary achievement which sets her apart as someone who lives the cowboy lifestyle with true grace, dignity and pride.
Thank you for representing our sport, Kayla!

We would also like to recognize
JOHN HYDE
of Pinedale, Wyoming who recently participated in the
Green River Rendezvous and Pageant
celebrating the history of the Mountain Man.
Every year, John grows a full beard, wears the buckskins his mother made for
his father 40 years ago and rides in a 56-year-old saddle.
The photograph taken above by Jason M. Levi
was sold recently to a buyer in New York.
Thank you, John, for your enthusiastic support of skijoring!

Our Advisory Council Member
TERRY DOLAN
is also upholding the tradition of the American Cowboy
as he embarks on trail rides and wilderness adventures as captured in the photograph above showing horses crossing a river.
Terry may not post very often on Facebook,
but when he does, he makes it count!

SUMMER FUN
We think it is fair to say that while summer is still in full swing,
we may also be "over the hump".
Local rodeos such as Eagle, CO and Helena, MT are finished.
At Cheyenne Frontier Days,
Dierks Bentley played last night, and today, the rodeo wrapped up.
The top three total payouts were:
Steer Wrestling
$21,396
Barrel Racing
$19,529
Bareback Bronc
$15,808
Now you're talkin'!
We wish everyone a happy second half of summer!
Stay safe and continue to share your adventures with us.
In the meantime, we'll continue to share our progress with you.
